The
New Jersey Education Foundation Partnership, Inc. (NJEFP) is
a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving public
education in New Jersey by facilitating the development and
effectiveness of local education foundations, through
training, education, networking, collaboration, and advocacy.
We are
a growing network of over 20 local education foundations in New
Jersey. We incorporated as a nonprofit corporation in
July 2007 and are a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.

Annual
Membership Meeting - Tuesday, June 3, 2008
Our annual membership meeting will be held on Tuesday,
June 3, 2008 at ETS's Chauncey Conference Center in
Lawrenceville, 8:30 a.m. - 12 noon. Pre-registration is
required - email to register. We cannot accept walk-ins on
the day of the meeting. Meeting is free to paid members and
guest education foundations who have not attended in the
past. Cost is $25 per person for non-members education
foundations. Agenda will be posted shortly on Members-Only
page.

A Nation At
Risk for 25 Years
The
landmark education report, A Nation at Risk, celebrated its
25th anniversary April 26, 2008. The report’s disturbing
findings kicked off a nationwide series of major investments
and firm commitments to remedy the nation’s public schools.
To commemorate A Nation at Risk, Education Week has begun a
yearlong series on the impact of the report (see link
below).

Annual Woodrow
Wilson School Public & International Affairs Forum:
A full-day forum for high school
juniors and seniors is scheduled for Friday, May 16, 2008. Sponsored by Princeton
University's Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International
Affairs, and NJ Education Foundation Partnership. This free
program is restricted to NJEFP member education foundation's
school districts. Registration is now closed for this
event!
